The Shire is undertaking a review of its Municipal Inventories, which were compiled by the former Shires of Broomehill and Tambellup in the late 1990s. The review process will result in the compilation of a Local Heritage List, and the development of a Local Heritage Strategy that will inform the Council’s planning decisions relating to heritage places in the Shire.
A heritage consultant has been engaged by the Shire to re-assess places already listed on the separate inventories for Broomehill and Tambellup, and we invite members of the community to consider whether there are additional places in the Shire that could be assessed for inclusion. These places will be assessed prior to making any recommendations to the Council.
A form is available at the following link for anyone wishing to make a place nomination: Heritage Place Nomination Form
