THE SHIRE OF BROOMEHILL-TAMBELLUP
The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is a progressive rural community located within the Great Southern Region of Western Australia. The region is predominantly a sheep and grain producing area with a growing interest in aquaculture, viticulture, horticulture and tourism. The Shire has a population of over 1,100 people and covers around 2,813 square kilometres.
The Shire has two townsites, Broomehill and Tambellup, that offer the advantages of rural lifestyle with the convenience of most essential services including recreation and leisure facilities plus government, health and education services.

Spring is here, and so is the HIDDEN TREASURES OF THE GREAT SOUTHERN BLOOM FESTIVAL! Running from September 13th – October 19th 2014, a wide range of ‘BLOOM’ related events will be held in the Hidden Treasures communities. Why not head over to their new website and see what’s on!

SPRINGTIME IN TAMBELLUP
In Tambellup, a display of beautifully crafted blooms - 'Fantasy Flowers' by the Tambellup Cake Decorating Group will be staged at the Tambellup Community Resource Centre from 16th - 19th and 22nd - 26th September. Gold coin donation entry and raffle with all proceeds to Crawford Lodge. Contact the CRC on 98251177 for more information.
AND - the main street will come alive on Saturday 11th October with the 90th Annual Tambellup Agricultural Show being held. Free entry to all, with celebratory BBQ, bar and fireworks at the Tambellup Sports Ground in the evening.
In addition to war memorials and honour boards located in our townships, the Shire now has copies of professionally researched war service histories available for public viewing, at the Broomehill Public Library and the Tambellup Community Resource Centre.
