Mail Payments – please ensure that your payment is posted several days prior to 15 September 2023 to ensure that it reaches the Shire Office by the close of the discount period.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.

EFTPOS facilities are available.  

A transaction charge of 1.2% applies to EFTPOS payments.

Please quote your assessment number as a reference for all electronic payments.

Payments received into Councils bank after the close of the discount period will not be eligible for the discount.

Ensure that you allow at least 24 hours for electronic payments to be processed so that they reach Councils bank account before the close of the discount period on the 4 September 2020

Telephone the Office on (08) 9825 3555 to pay using your Visa or Master Card.

A transaction charge of 1.2% applies to EFTPOS payments.

Discounts will not be granted on any payments received after 4.00pm on Friday 16 September 2022.

Ratepayers experiencing difficulty in paying their rates are encouraged to contact the Chief Executive Officer as soon as possible to discuss alternative payment arrangements.  The CEO can be contacted at the Shire on (08) 9825 3555, or email to mail@shirebt.wa.gov.au

Centrelink—Centrepay Deductions

If you would like your rate payments deducted directly from your Centrelink payment, please contact the Office to obtain the necessary forms and information to enable this.
