Great Southern Treasures

The Great Southern Treasures (formerly Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern) website is a visitor's guide to the magnificent Treasures to be found in the Great Southern region. Listed on the website are visitor information centres, shire offices and Community Resource Centres where you can pick up tourist information throughout the area plus accommodation and local sightseeing choices to suit all travellers.

Great Southern Treasures covers nine Shires in the northern part of the Great Southern Region of Western Australia, being the Shires of  Broomehill-Tambellup,  Cranbrook (incorporating Frankland River), Gnowangerup, Kent, Katanning, Kojonup, Jerramungup, Plantagenet and Woodanilling.  These communities are predominantly recognized for the primary industry of agriculture, with viticulture playing an increasingly important part.  Steeped in the heritage of WA's early settlers, this sometimes overlooked area of Western Australia has a new outlook, offering tourists and visitors a unique glimpse of the real backbone of our farming communities.

The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is a proud supporter of Great Southern Treasures.
