Emergency Management Arrangements

The Shire is required by legislation to have Emergency Management Arrangements in place, to support our community in emergency prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.

The Local Emergency Management Arrangements were adopted by the Council in October 2021.  The Arrangements can be downloaded at the link below, and copies are also available for perusal at the Administration offices in Broomehill and Tambellup.

Local Recovery Plan

A Local Emergency Management Committee has been established which includes representatives from key agencies in the local and regional community who will be responsible for implementing the Arrangements in the event of an emergency. The committee meets on a quarterly basis to test and monitor the Arrangements to ensure continued relevance to the Broomehill and Tambellup communities.
