Online Form - Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2015-2020 Review

The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is required to undertake a review of its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and consult with key stakeholders to guide further improvements to access and inclusion, every five years.  

Good access benefits everyone in the community including people with disabilities and their families, carers and friends, people pushing prams and seniors. Commonwealth and State legislation exists which assists to ensure that people with disabilities are not discriminated against and services, information and facilities provided are accessible.

The Shire's consultation process includes:

  • Examination of the 2015-2020 DAIP and subsequent progress reports to see what has been achieved and what still needs work;
  • Consultation with key staff; and
  • Consultation with the community.
