DRAFT 10-YEAR FOOTPATH PLAN AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT
The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is pleased to present the Draft 10-Year Footpath Plan 2026-2036 for the Broomehill and Tambellup townsites.
The draft Plan has been developed to guide future investment in safe, accessible, and connected pathways for our community. It draws on a range of data sources and strategic documents, including community feedback to the Department of Transport’s 2050 Cycling Strategy, the Great Southern Regional Trails Masterplan, and the Shire’s Bike Plans for both Broomehill and Tambellup.
The Draft 10-Year Footpath Plan proposes upgrades to existing footpaths, extensions to the current path and trails network, construction of new paths, and the installation of kerb ramps where these are missing. Together, these works are intended to improve accessibility, connectivity, and safety for all users.
We are now seeking community feedback on the draft document. We invite you to review the draft and share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. Your input will help ensure the final Plan reflects the needs and priorities of the community.
The Draft 10-Year Footpath Plan 2026-2036 and associated maps are available for viewing HERE . Copies of the draft Plan and maps are also available for perusal at the Shire Administration offices.
